Review jak and daxter

Concept: a simple platformer where you jump around punching and kicking things
Format:PS2
Plot: collect power cells to save your freind who has been turned into an otter weasel thing.
Thsi was the first game i played EVER. not to say i rever it looking back the sequels were superior to the generic plot and the silent hero. You start of on a boat to an island where your friend falls itno a pool of "dark eco" which turns him into an annoying weasel thing who you'll want to strangle by the end of the game. You then go to see your cranky old mentor samos. He then tells you his buddy gol might be able to help you you then go to an island literrally called "tutoorial island" where he gives you a tutroial so you can collect 4 power cells or precusors power cells.(i'll get to that in a sec) and then you play the game you need to collect power cells by overcoming platforming challenges so you can collect enought o the next area along the way you collect ecos to use temporairily there is the healing green eco, the red eco ehich powers up your kicking and punching, blue eco which powers up stuff and makes you run fast, and yellow eco which makes you shoot fire out of your fists. This stuff has all been left behind by your species ancestors the precusors wh leav their shit EVERYWHERE. you go through at least FIVE precusor temples before the end of the game.


All in all jak and daxter is a game that didnt change the world but spawned two pretty great sequels and a combat racing game
